I just don't want it to end... I have had an amazing summer with Izzy, jam packed with either fun family activities and outings or hanging by dads pool. I just don't want to get back into the "schedule routine" Not only do I not want to go back to school but I also don't want to send my baby girl to preschool this year. It seems like just yesterday I was bringing her home from the hospital and now I am school shopping, its just passing by so fast. I am so thankful for my little family and all that we do. I am so very blessed.
I also did some branching out of my own this summer, I went to Columbus 2 weeks ago for the Thirty-One National Conference. It has opened many new doors for my business but the experience was more than that for me. It was the first time I have ever done anything like that for myself....ever. I have either went places with my mom when I was younger or Jeremy, ZZ and I have gone together. It gave me a sense of pride and Independence to be out on my own, with that said I was only 2 hours away from home, only gone 2 days and cried for the first 30 minutes of the car ride up because the thought of leaving Izzy for that long broke my heart. I had never been on a solo road trip. I am so glad I went, I felt like a new person when I came home, not only because I was exploding with great tips to better my business but because of the friend connections, praise and worship, and the inspiration that I got from being around 8,000 women with all different backgrounds and stories.
Last weekend we took Izzy camping in Lebanon Ohio. While there we went on a hour train ride. Izzy is so into trains right now. She loves Thomas. The next day we went to Kings Island because it was Newman Tractor day there. We spent most of the day in the water park it was so hot. Izzy had a blast all weekend! She is one lucky little girl!
This past weekend Jeremy and I went canoeing for the first time... He loved it. Me? I wasn't into the wildlife. LOL I wouldn't get into the water because it was full of fish and turtles. I saw them swimming. Luckily we never flipped the canoe. My other issue was the spiders that had webs in the low hanging tree branches. I guess me ducking down when we went under them didn't help Jeremy steer the boat? (so, he says) :) I do much better in chlorinated water that I can see my feet! But hey I went, so I should get points for the effort right???
I am looking forward to what the next 2 weeks brings before classes start, I know we are going to try to enjoy them!
