I am thrilled to say that I am finished with my first semester back to college as a Mommy! Its been a long 16 weeks and its only going to get tougher before its over. But knowing that I am headed in the right direction makes me beam with pride. Its been quite the eye opener for me though let me tell you, When I attend NKU the first time I only worked part time and that's it, this go around I'm on call 24/7, and although quite small my boss is very demanding :) and I did so much better this time with my grades, I couldn't believe the difference in it yet how much harder it was for me to find time to get my work done. I don't know maybe I wasn't as mature right out of high school as I thought I was or maybe its the fact that I want to achieve my goals in life so that I can teach Isabella to do the same. The next semester starts January 11 and I hope it goes just as well.
Isabella is doing really good and everyday it seems I am losing my baby more and more and she is replaced with a little girl. It breaks my heart on one hand and on the other we have so much fun. She is very independent- wonder where she gets it???? She is getting really good at using utensils at meals, her favorite foods are Italian, she will go crazy for lasagna, stuffed shells, pizza, anything of that nature. She is started to say a few more words, meow is her favorite thing to say and she says it all day to the cat, she will talk to Pickles on the phone and meow at her and then hold the phone to Pickles ear so she can "talk" back!! Other words she says is Dada, kitty cat, wow, hi, bye, awww, fishies, no, yeah and she is starting to say thank you. I'm really proud of her saying more words.
Starting the first week of January Jeremy is going to night shift. It will be 6P-6A. He is really excited about it....me, not so much. But I am TRYING to be optimistic about it, keyword there is trying.
Last week we got a new family picture taken and Izzy's Christmas pictures done, I think they turned out cute although she didn't throw any fits she didn't want to stay in the room and wanted to be in the lobby playing with the other kids, but we managed to get a few.
