Its been waaay too long!...again!

I am hoping to keep up with this a little better, its been over a month since I posted! Time just has a way of getting away from me these days.
I am thrilled to say that I am finished with my first semester back to college as a Mommy! Its been a long 16 weeks and its only going to get tougher before its over. But knowing that I am headed in the right direction makes me beam with pride. Its been quite the eye opener for me though let me tell you, When I attend NKU the first time I only worked part time and that's it, this go around I'm on call 24/7, and although quite small my boss is very demanding :) and I did so much better this time with my grades, I couldn't believe the difference in it yet how much harder it was for me to find time to get my work done. I don't know maybe I wasn't as mature right out of high school as I thought I was or maybe its the fact that I want to achieve my goals in life so that I can teach Isabella to do the same. The next semester starts January 11 and I hope it goes just as well.
Isabella is doing really good and everyday it seems I am losing my baby more and more and she is replaced with a little girl. It breaks my heart on one hand and on the other we have so much fun. She is very independent- wonder where she gets it???? She is getting really good at using utensils at meals, her favorite foods are Italian, she will go crazy for lasagna, stuffed shells, pizza, anything of that nature. She is started to say a few more words, meow is her favorite thing to say and she says it all day to the cat, she will talk to Pickles on the phone and meow at her and then hold the phone to Pickles ear so she can "talk" back!! Other words she says is Dada, kitty cat, wow, hi, bye, awww, fishies, no, yeah and she is starting to say thank you. I'm really proud of her saying more words.
Starting the first week of January Jeremy is going to night shift. It will be 6P-6A. He is really excited about it....me, not so much. But I am TRYING to be optimistic about it, keyword there is trying.
Last week we got a new family picture taken and Izzy's Christmas pictures done, I think they turned out cute although she didn't throw any fits she didn't want to stay in the room and wanted to be in the lobby playing with the other kids, but we managed to get a few.

Busy Day!

Today we took Izzy to the Newport Aquarium for the first time! She seemed to enjoy it, she really liked the bright colored fish and the really big fish. I think her favorite part was petting the star fish, she wanted to keep doing it over and over! Then when we got to the shark petting area and she got upset because she couldn't get in and swim with them! The aquarium was packed so between the people and trying to keep up with Izzy we didn't get any pictures there.
It was so pretty when we left the aquarium we took Izzy to pride park to play, she had a blast running around with the kids! After our busy day Izzy was worn out! Here are the pics from the park!

Halloween and More..

Izzy had a BLAST trick or treating! Its was too cute, it was so funny she seemed to know just what to do when we went to each house. Yesterday we made cookies and cupcakes that were Halloween themed and today we made some Halloween punch, my mom and stepdad and Jeremy's parents came down to see her trick or treat.

Pumpkin Patch

Yesterday we took Izzy to the fall festival at Kinman Farms in Burlington. She had a blast! She loved running around the barn looking at all the animals! Her favorite seemed to be the calf as she kept going right back to it! She didn't care to much for the chicken coop though she almost acted like she was scared of it. Izzy got to take her first pony ride! I wasn't sure if she would like it or not but she loved it and petted the pony's mane while she was riding it was so sweet! We took a hayride out to the pumpkin patch where she got to pick a pumpkin and have a snack, I think she would have stayed on the hayride all day! It was a great day and so much fun watching her have such a good time!

Walk Like MADD

Yesterday was the annual MADD Walk in Cincinnati, its something that means a lot to me. The first time I went was in 2007 with my Aunt Kelly and I didn't go last year because it was too cold for Izzy, so I have been looking forward to this for a while. It always brings lots of memories that are close to my heart of my Aunt Jackie, who was killed by a drunk driver.. I hope that as Izzy gets older we can continue this tradition together, even though she didn't get to meet Jackie, I believe that her angel is watching over her.
Here are some pics from the walk

We had a great turn out for Team Jackie this year!

Well Baby

Today was Izzy's well baby it was supposed to be 15 months but ended up being late because she had been sick. She weighs 23 pounds and is 29.5 inches long and is now in the 25th percentile. Which is great news because last time she was only in the 10th. She had to get two shots and unfortunately couldn't get her flu shot because they were out and since her Pedi won't get any in until November so I have to go someplace else and get it for her. I will start calling around tomorrow. I think Walgreens does it. Izzy still isn't talking much, she only says 3-4 words and her Pedi wants us to keep an eye on her progress and by 18 months if she isn't talking more then she wants to have her hearing tested and pending the results of that have a speech evaluation done. So we are hoping for the best and are really going to start working harder with her and see what happens. I am trying not to worry about it but it will be in the back of my head constantly.
Izzy has been in a terrible mood the past 3 days or so and I thought it was because one of her eye teeth was coming in but I was wrong it is because all 4 of her eye teeth are coming in, the top two are through but the bottom are still beneath the surface, so looks like we are going to have a few more long days ahead. And the last update on Izzy is that she started crawling 2 days ago after walking for 4 and a half months!

Here are a few pictures from Play and Learn class this week.
