The Wharff's: We Are Home!

Well its back to the reality of fire truck sirens all hours of the night and construction noises at 7:15 in the morning! We had a great weekend, it was really nice to not have to think about school starting, cleaning the apartment, and Jeremy's work phone ringing at all hours of the night and day.
We got off to a late start on Friday and we didn't leave until around 6:30 PM, then ran into some construction as soon as we entered Indiana so by the time we stopped to eat and hit the rain storm we didn't get to the campground until about 9:30 PM, shortly after we got set up I put Izzy to bed and to everyones surprise she slept ALL NIGHT! Whoohoo!
Saturday morning we got up and headed to the Zoo, it was cloudy all day but only lightly sprinkled a few times! Izzy's favorite part was the bears! She squealed and would wave with both hands and pat her leg as if she was calling it over to her!
My favorite part of the day was a dolphin show! It was so neat to watch the dolphins respond to the hand signals and jump and flip so high in the air. Izzy fell asleep in my arms as soon as we sat down in the arena to watch the show so unfortunately she missed it.
After spending the majority of the day at the zoo we headed back to the campground. Where we made some s'mores, which Izzy LOVED! I think she has my sweet tooth!
And then Sunday morning we got up and packed everything up to head home.
Izzy did great on the trip and I am so glad we got the opportunity to take a break from everything and enjoy ourselves.
